ComfortCloset is an organization rooted in making a commitment to sustainability, artistry, innovation, and compassion. We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of single parents and their children seeking haven in shelters. Our mission is to provide high-quality, nearly new clothes to families through personalized and thrifted "style bundles" that reflect the unique tastes of each individual recipient. Especially with the coinciding rise in fast fashion and family homelessness reaching critical levels, there is a need of sustainable and ethical fashion. By using thrifted or donated clothes to create personalized gifts for each recipient, ComfortCloset not only combats overconsumption and lack of choice, but fosters personal connections across different communities.

Our Message:
Fashion does not have to be defined by luxury brands or expensive price tags. It does not have to be associated with trending clothes or the amount of clothes one has. Often times, the meaning of fashion is lost to unnecessary, wasteful spending that turns into competitions on who can accumulate the more expensive, coveted products. Fashion should be meaningful, purposeful, ethical, accessible, and a means for self-expression, not outward appearance or social status.
